Our Shine Through Community
Collaboration over Competition
At Shine Through we are big on supporting the supporters, and that includes each other!! There is more than enough work for everyone, so let’s share what we know and build a stronger, more experienced practitioner network
Authenticity & Integrity
To be brave is to be vulnerable and real, for it is only in our flaws that we see our true strength. And choosing what is true or right over what is fun, fast and easy is always how we roll, because our personal and professional integrity underlie who we are and how we practice.
Growth
One thing about the Shine Through Community is that we are all about growth!! Any opportunity for more learnings and we are so there! (Not because we need to externalise our worth through lots of certificates though… just because we actually really love learning!)

“I don’t shine, if you don’t shine” - Shine Theory
At Shine Through Psychology, we believe in the assertion of ‘Shine Theory’ that collaboration over competition is the key to success (thanks Aminatou Sow & Ann Friedman!) We believe in empowering and supporting other practitioners to promote greater understanding, positive cultural change and better practice standards … that way we can all shine a little brighter.
We believe that no one therapist has all the answers, so we started creating a community of exceptional practitioners who all collaborate so you get the best of many minds supporting your care. Our Shine Through Allies are all highly competent professionals and supervisors with speciality interests and caring hearts. We are also garnering a pretty remarkable Alumni. See below for a selection of practitioners who may also prove a good fit for your needs.
